Who doesn’t like bargain prices on outstanding home décor?
Recently there has been a fabulous trend in the industry of using salvaged materials like wine crates and pallets- and literally turning them into stunning furniture! The best news: you don’t have to go to Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware to get the look ; )
Get this look in your home for dirt cheap:
Wine boxes
What: I've been personally using these in my home for years and find SO many uses-End tables, magazine caddies (adding wheels to bottom), closet bins, serving trays, wine storage, flooring!Where: Best place to go are the wine stores, even Costco (usually they will give them to you for free, or will cost just a few dollars at stores like Total Wine & More)
Pallets
Where: Supermarkets (make sure you talk to the manager first as simply taking them from the back parking lot is frowned upon), Costco, literally any place that receives shipments in bulk- usually they are happy to give them away for free!
Here are some of my all-time favorite inspiration photos using these ideas, and a little surprise of my own at the end! xoxo
(Witnessed actual wine crate flooring in a model home before, absolutely stunning!!)
And in my own home, an old Dom Perignon crate simply turned sideways that I use in my living room as a side table : )
Bon Shopping!
