H&M Home Decor in the US- where are you?!

Ok ok.....it's been a LONG time since I've posted, and I thought what better way than to feature one of my favorite clothing brands that is rumored to launch their home decor in the United States ANY MINUTE NOW....(set to launch Spring 2013 per WWD- I know, I'm impatient).  It's true- H & M is bringing their home design collection to the States- think parisian/utilitarian/contemporary- and although our friends in Europe have already the pleasure of picking up numerous goods from the international retailer via retail store & online (YES H&M we are still waiting for that option here in the US too!), I did a quick search online & on their UK site to bring you all some of best (and past...sigh...) of their line -and hopefully a small preview of what's to come.  Prices are also slightly higher than IKEA, however said to be of a better quality.  Cute home decor + good quality + decent pricing??  I think I need a guest room makeover....

None other than Tory Burch's ex-husband, Chris Burch recently opened C.Wonder in New York City- a luxury (and Tory Burch-esque) boutique divided into individual shops with a less than luxury price tag.  Chris calling his store a "21st century retailing destination", I was thrilled to hear in addition to his NY store, he recently opened his 2nd boutique here in sunny Southern CA in the Fashion Island Mall in Newport Beach!  And with most of his items costing an average $40, I couldn't resist checking out Mr. Burch's website.  Take a peek below at just some of the eye-catching decor pieces he offers on his line, as well as some of my favorite pieces from his fashion line from his website http://www.cwonder.com/ ~enjoy!  Mrs. O

It's only two short days away, and the 4th of July feels like it has crept up on me faster than ever!  According to a national report, 68% of all Americans will celebrate this holiday, with the majority attending a BBQ or picnic at home or at the beach with friends.  I did a little looking around this weekend myself for some fun 4^th of July merchandise that we can all enjoy whether we plan to socialize with friends at home or away at a fabulous fete!  See below for some of my favorite patriotic backyard essentials (which can also be used year-round of course), and have a wonderful and safe holiday! TCT on Location....short-term renting in Portugal...

Although I haven't personally been to Portugal, I couldn't help but dream of flying off and renting this house designed by one of my favorites:Ana Antunes.  Located in the historic central area of Lisbon (Portugal), Ana provides short-term renting for tourists in this 2 bedroom home- owned previously by the designer herself.  I can already see myself checking in and claiming the master bedroom for myself....see her entire posting here, or scroll down to see her fabulous place.  Enjoy!
